Introducing EASIpanels: innovative, easy-to-install wall panels designed to add character to any room. Whether you're refreshing a space or undertaking a full renovation, EASIpanels provide a practical and cost-effective DIY solution.
In this blog, we'll highlight the versatility of EASIpanels and explore how they can enhance almost every room in your home.
Hallway
The hallway is one of the first areas people see when they enter your home, making it a key space for design.Â
EASIpanels can help create a welcoming atmosphere that leaves a lasting first impression, all without the need for a complicated renovation.
Consider using darker tones to add depth to narrow or long hallways, while lighter shades can help make small spaces appear larger. One of the standout features of these panels is their ability to be painted to complement your hallway’s décor, allowing you to paint or wallpaper the upper portion of the wall for a cohesive, unified look.
Bedroom
Your bedroom is your sanctuary, and EASIpanels can help create a relaxing space perfect for unwinding with a book or enjoying a restful sleep. The panels are ideal for adding visual interest to your walls without overwhelming the room, making them especially well-suited for smaller spaces that lack room for additional furniture like chairs or shelves.
Whether used on an accent wall behind your bed to create a striking focal point or covering the entire room for a seamless, modern look, EASIpanels offer versatile design options
Soft, neutral colours like beige, cream, or light grey can help foster a tranquil ambiance, while deeper hues such as navy or forest green can create a more dramatic effect.
The durability of EASIpanels ensures that your bedroom walls stay looking fresh and beautiful for years to come, even with regular wear and tear.
Utility Room
The utility room is often associated with chores, laundry, and daily tasks—functions that can make it easy to overlook its design potential. However, there's no reason why this practical space can't be both functional and visually appealing.
By incorporating EASIpanels, you can transform your utility room into an aesthetically pleasing area that, despite its purpose for chores, becomes a space you'll enjoy spending time in.
How to Install EASIpanels
MDF panels are easy to install and cut to size.
- Prepare the wall:Â Ensure the wall is flat and level.
- Measure and calculate:Â Measure the width of the wall and divide it by the width of the panel to determine how many panels you need.
- Cut and position the first panel:Â If necessary, cut the first panel to length. Position it on the wall and level it. Mark where the panel sits level on the wall.
- Apply adhesive:Â Remove the panel, peel off the adhesive strip backing to expose the adhesive tape. Align the panel with your marks and press it back onto the wall, ensuring it is level.
- Install remaining panels:Â Once the first panel is secure and level, cut the remaining panels to length if needed, and slot them together one after another.
- Cut panels to fit:Â If you need to cut a panel lengthwise, measure the top, middle, and bottom of the gap where the panel will fit from the edge of the tongue and groove. Transfer these measurements onto the panel and cut to size.
- Secure with adhesive: If you cut off the adhesive strip, use a strong adhesive like No Nails (Pink Grip) to secure the panel.
- Finish with trims:Â Use dado, internal, or external trims to cover corners or exposed edges. Glue these on once cut to size.
- Customise: You can either keep the natural wood colour or paint the panels to match your home’s aesthetic. To add extra functionality to your hallway, you can add pegs to the dado rail atop the panel to hang coats or bags.
